Those are more of a fad with younger kids, And while I still think they look cool, Most US aftermmarket companies probally feel the primary target for the Z is adults or older people. And many of the Z owners do take that, "lets keep it conservative, and not touch the natural lines nissan intended outlook" Lets face it, while some kids are lucky enough to have Z's most dont because of parents fears, insurance, maintenance cost practicallity etc. I can't tell you how often I run into teenage honda tuners who say, "I've always wanted A Z, thats my favorite car, my parents just wont let me get one." Civics, and honda's on parents love to buy for their kids. Then, they want to make them look like the sports car they really wanted. As a result there is a large niche in the aftermarket industry for radical styling on econo box cars. Furthermore, while there are workarounds, and plenty of ways to fully customize a Z with a little imagination and inngenuity, lets face it, the majority of Z's around are bone stock (at least where I live). So thats my theory on it anyways
